Ask A Guy To Be Your Boyfriend And Take Your Relationship To The Next Level

Commitment is a serious step for all people to make but when you find that special someone, it is the most natural next step to take. Are you ready to ask a guy to be your boyfriend? Most of the time, women will wait for the man to ask for the commitment, but there is nothing written that says a woman cannot take it upon herself to seal the deal. If you are ready to go from dating to a more serious relationship, there are ways to ask that won't leave you embarrassed if he doesn't feel the same way.

The first thing you'll want to do is prepare yourself for the worse case scenario. He may not feel the same way as you and that could crush you emotionally. Keep this in the back of your mind so if worse comes to worse, you can accept his decision and not have sour feelings because of it. However, if you are already feeling good vibes between you both, chances are he is ready to take the next step but is just as nervous as you are about asking.

Way #1 - A safe way to find out how he feels without directly asking him to be your boyfriend is by instead asking him where he sees the relationship going. This way, it gives him the chance to express how he truly feels and if he is serious about you. If he says he wants to take things slow, you save yourself the trouble of asking. If he says he feels much more for you, then you can proceed with asking him to be your boyfriend.

Way #2 - Another way (but a little more risky in terms of rejection) is to be open and honest about feeling very close to him and wanting more. This way is really going for it but if you are relatively certain he feels the same way, you shouldn't fear rejection.

Avoid making these mistakes:

Whichever way you choose to approach the situaion, do not add in other options such as, "there is no rush" or "it's up to you." These things are obvious and if he is ready to bolt, he will tell you his reasons. By standing firm, it shows that you are not flaky and having doubts about committing which is something he may be worried about if he's ready to take the next step.

While the stereotype is that men are afraid of commitment, many men are also looking for a solid long-term relationship and will not deal with women who are unsure about becoming a couple. You will only know this for sure by how he responds.

Keep him interested and ready to commit:

Once he is your boyfriend, are you willing to take it to the final level of falling in love and even getting a proposal? If he is committed to being a couple, there is a good chance that he wants something permanent with you in the future. Unfortunately, many women make the mistake of pushing their boyfriends away because of fear of losing a good thing.

Don't let fear of losing the boyfriend you love cause you to do or say things that turn him off. Discover how you can make him stick with you for the long haul and become irresistible at the same time. Follow the resource link below in my bio to get full details.
